A fairly well known story concerning Michelangelo the painter, seems to sum up well
the ethos of Saint
Andrew’s. Michelangelo was taking the position of resident artist at the
Sistine Chapel in Rome, and in those
days it was customary to take a present and testimonial
to the new employers. Part of the testimonial read –
"The bearer of these gifts is
Michelangelo the painter, his nature is that he needs to be drawn out and treated
with kindness but if love be shown he will accomplish things that will make the whole
world wonder”. As well as
our professional commitment,
we like to show a bit of love
at Saint Andrews’s! Come on in and find out more
about what our wonderful school
has to offer...
